Functional clay art
Inspired by nature and the balance of opposites, I primarily work with clay through wheel throwing, applying soft and fluid colors. Through a play of contrasts between stability and movement, I give the pieces a structural strength that evokes the fragility of the clay. Whether made from stoneware or porcelain, each creation reflects a quest for harmony between strength and delicacy.
As far back as I can remember, I have always loved the arts and enjoyed working with my hands. I discovered ceramics during a sculpture class at UQÀM, and while completing a Bachelor's degree in Arts at university, I enrolled in a DEC in Art Techniques, specializing in ceramics, at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal. Since then, my passion for clay has only continued to grow.
