My passion for textiles is reflected in my work. I have developed a grid-like pattern in which the subject is incorporated, whether it be abstract or figurative. While appearing like a quilt, it is in fact paint on canvas.

I use mixed media and acrylic paint on canvas. Plaster and sometimes objects from the hardware store are incorporated into the paint. Plaster and sometimes objects from the hardware store are incorporated into the paint.

Abstract and figurative themes blend together, so that there is no clear distinction between the two. Colour and design predominate at first glance, leaving in place a narrative theme in large scale as well as smaller works.
