Painting is my passion. From my first crayon in kindergarten I was hooked.

My intent is to capture the essence of my subject. I paint everything but my preferred subject is people. In painting portraits I look for what is spécial and unique in each person.

I particularly like painting older models. Their lined faces tell their life story. I am an impressionnist searching for the most visually interesting and impactful way to describe my subject.

I work in either watercolours or acrylics. My palette is limited to both warm and cool selections of primary colours plus earth colours.
