Painting, Mixed Media

I draw, I paint, I sew and I assemble found objects. I attempt to create works that are startling yet poetic, rendering a combination of darkness and light. My themes are often filled with humanism to defend a broken social fabric, injustices or inequities.
The feminine anatomy is one of my main subjects; however from time to time, I also develop other series when I am captivated by a new theme.
Lepidoptera is one of my most recent series that has appeared from a growing concern due to global warming, where I use butterflies as a subtle way to portray a deteriorating environment affected by mankind.
